Are these courses approved by CDPHE?+
Not yet. Cielo Hermosa, LLC applied to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment for approval on October 21, 2026. Approval is pending. We will update this page when CDPHE makes a decision, and we won’t open enrollment for credit until then.
Which course do I need?+
If you are new to the manager or administrator role, start with the 9-hour First-Time Manager Course. If you are already in the role and need your yearly hours, the 12-hour Annual Training is for you. Your agency’s license class and your start date matter, so check Chapter 26 or ask us if you’re not sure.
Can I take the course online at my own pace?+
Yes. Both courses are self-paced online modules. You can stop and come back. Modules open in order, and you need to pass each quiz to move on.
What score do I need to pass?+
80% or higher on each module quiz. You can retake a quiz after reviewing the module.
How are my hours counted?+
The course logs the time you spend in each lesson, and every module has a set length. The Annual Training is 12 clock hours (720 minutes); the First-Time course is 9 clock hours (540 minutes).
What do I get when I finish?+
A certificate of completion with your name, the course name, topics covered, clock hours, completion dates, and the provider and instructor names and contact details, plus a curriculum summary for your agency’s file.
How much does it cost?+
The 12-hour Annual Training is $249 per year and the 9-hour First-Time course is $299. Nothing is for sale yet; the waitlist is free and you won’t be charged.
When can I enroll?+
