Eight self-paced modules covering the topics Colorado’s home care agency rules (6 CCR 1011-1, Chapter 26) list for annual manager and administrator training, refreshed each year with a section on rule changes.
For: Current Class B (non-medical) home care agency managers, Class A administrators and alternate administrators, owners, and supervisors.

9-Hour First-Time Manager Course
Six self-paced modules for people stepping into the manager or administrator role for the first time, covering the topics Chapter 26 lists for an approved agency manager training program.
For: New Class B (non-medical) home care agency managers and new Class A administrators or alternate administrators.

How the courses work
Simple, self-paced, and on the record.
Self-paced online modules
Work through each module on your own schedule, from any computer or phone. Modules open in order, one after another.
A quiz at the end of every module
Each module ends with a short quiz. You need 80% or higher to pass and move on. If you don’t pass, review the module and try again.
Time logs
The course keeps a record of the time you spend in each lesson. Colorado counts actual clock hours, so the log is part of your record.
A certificate when you finish
Your certificate lists your name, the course, the topics, clock hours, completion dates, and the provider and instructor contact details. Keep it in your personnel file for surveys.

A Colorado home care agency manager with a master’s in management (health care administration emphasis) and more than 17 years leading licensed agency operations, including state licensing, CDPHE surveys, and caregiver hiring and training.
